As the Manager, Affiliate, you will play a key role in architecting and building out a robust affiliate program to support Ro’s wide range of consumer health brands. Ideally, you will have a robust existing network within the affiliate marketing space and the ability to build and maintain relationships with new and emerging partners.

As much as you are a keen relationship builder outside of the organization, you will also have the ability to forge strong relationships inside of Ro -- not only across our multiple business units but also with key cross-functional teams (medical, legal, marketing, etc.). Your depth of knowledge of the affiliate space will enable you to be a clear and effective communicator and advocate for the channel internally across Ro.

  • Maintain budget and performance tracking for Ro’s overall affiliate program, balancing day-to-day needs with long-term planning/growth, while providing accurate and reliable forecasts
  • Negotiate with all media partners to drive customer acquisition using a broad range of set of levers (i.e., commission structures, bounties, etc.)
  • Build a robust affiliate program experiment roadmap, with a keen ability to map out test opportunities, required budget, measurement methodologies, and contingencies
  • Work in close coordination with Ro’s Medical and Legal teams to ensure that affiliate partner strategies conform tightly to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate closely with Ro Marketing and Comms team to ensure affiliate partner strategies align with prevailing audience, messaging, and positioning strategies
  • Analyze campaign results, identifying actionable opportunities (targeting, optimization, creative direction, etc) to improve performance and scale the program
  • Layout specific technology needs to support the growth of affiliate program (i.e, specific tracking platforms) and work closely with Tech, Product, and Data teams to implement all necessary tools

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years of affiliate program management in a direct-response environment, either working in house at an e-commerce or D2C business, or for a similar type of client at an agency or as a marketing service provider
  • Experience establishing affiliate marketing partnerships and managing ongoing campaigns across a variety of partners
  • Experience working within major affiliate platforms such as Impact Radius, CJ, HasOffers, Awin, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from third-party platforms and adept at combining internal data with platform data to drive insights and a view into performance
  • A strong ability to manipulate data from platforms such Looker, Amplitude, Adjust, Appsflyer, Branch, Google Analytics, Segment, Excel, etc.
  • Experience working with internal tech and engineering teams to help implement necessary tooling and measurement services to enable the affiliate program (i.e., onboarding a new affiliate platform)
  • Highly knowledgeable about industry best practices, with deep relationships across major players and industry participants
  • Outstanding communication skills that will not only allow you to forge lasting external relationships but also be an internal advocate and educator for the affiliate as a channel at Ro
  • Experience working within a regulated industry (healthcare, financial services, etc) is a major plus
