The Impact You Will Make
We are seeking a passionate Marketing Associate that will help develop, execute and optimize campaigns to grow Grubhub’s rapidly expanding college campus business.
You will be responsible for the creation, planning and execution of student marketing programs, including events, brand ambassador programming, grassroots initiatives, digital & social efforts and more. This role has a strong focus on growing the collegiate user base and building brand awareness, affinity and loyalty for Grubhub at our partnered schools nationwide.
The ideal candidate is a creative and entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives on creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong desire to make an immediate impact.
- Create and execute impactful marketing campaigns to drive growth for the campus dining business
- Strategize and own CRM campaigns (email, push, SMS) across the diner lifecycle
- Work cross functionally with CRM, Brand, Product, Enterprise Partnerships, Finance, Strategy & Analytics and Client Success to grow new customer base, and to increase order frequency among existing diners
- Monitor and report on campaign progress weekly / monthly / quarterly, delivering insights to drive continuous improvement and reinvestment strategies
- Leverage consumer research and target insights to drive innovation and relevant marketing efforts
- Bring your intellectual curiosity and big creative ideas to the table, striving for excellence in everything you do
- Provide regular status reports and briefings to stakeholders and functional leadership teams
- Demonstrate a strong bias for action by identifying problems/opportunities and working proactively to solve them, as well as manage complex timelines and dependencies.
- Manage and prioritize work effectively to ensure internal deadlines, timetables and approvals are met
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related concentration or equivalent experience
- At least 2-4 years of experience in B2C marketing
- Background in marketing for a technology company a big plus
- Experience using analytical/CRM platforms (such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Mailchimp, Braze etc) to analyze data, identify trends, summarize results, and extract actionable insights
- Exceptionally strong organizational skills and drive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment (willing to roll up sleeves and get your hands dirty)
