Requirements
About the role
- The mission of this role is to help increase brand awareness of Rokt across all channels including PR, events, social media, website, awards, content (video and written), and more. We aim to make Rokt a household name among our target audience - ecommerce site owners and acquisition marketers.
- Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is an entry level role key in supporting the marketing function and will work closely with both the Senior Marketing Manager and VP of Brand. You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing and Product teams across the Rokt suite of products. This role is best suited for someone who is excited about starting a career in Marketing, passionate about content, and has the opportunity for career progression and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work with the entire marketing team to help coordinate day-to-day activities for all roles in the brand marketing team
- Draft written materials - both internal & external - for a range of content platforms including blog posts, social media, award entries, announcements, and newsletters
- Conduct research for written content, media pitches, thought leadership presentations and more
- Monitor industry news and websites to report on emerging trends
- Support our corporate gifting program through research, planning and execution
- Assist in coordinating rollout of the new website and brand refresh
- Analyze and report on campaign performance/insights to inform the Brand Marketing team and the other stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years professional experience
- Experience in marketing, advertising, content creation, events either professionally or through high-profile internships
- Ability to produce marketing materials on time in response to a brief with support from senior stakeholders
- Strong writer with experience and interest in crafting content for various channels
- Strong attention to detail and editing skills; able to identify opportunities to improve materials, whether it’s a small word change or pixel-perfect image alignment
- Organized, and with high personal accountability; able to take direction and work independently; balanced with a strong sense of when to communicate updates
- Tech savvy and fast learner with a love for learning new technology platforms
- Resilience and tenacity:
- Adaptable: adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions; eager to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes to help make projects and clients successful
- Efficient: able to deliver significant output with minimal wasted effort
- Proactive: acts without being told what to do; brings new ideas to the table
