MARKETING DIRECTOR
DipJar — a New York-based startup that enables cashless generosity with the world’s first tip jar and collection box for credit cards — is seeking a full-time marketing director to drive awareness, sales, and loyalty for this rapidly growing brand.
As a core team member, the Marketing Director will work closely with DipJar’s co-founders and sales team to build and execute a strategic marketing plan in line with DipJar’s sales and business objectives.
Duties will encompass PR, social media, traditional communications, digital marketing, and partnerships.
The person in this role should have an entrepreneurial spirit and experience with B2B or B2B2C marketing. Experience in the QSR, nonprofit, and/or financial services and payments industries a plus.
The Marketing Director will lead all brand communications, social media, and press relationships, so experience with digital media, native advertising, paid media, and partnerships are a must.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute DipJar’s long-term marketing strategies (B2B and B2C)
Lead press outreach and relationships to drive sales and mass awareness
Liaise with customers to ideate and execute joint marketing efforts
Oversee all social media and digital communications from DipJar day to day
Build and manage a larger marketing team

Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Critical approach to problem-solving
Creative thinking around big ideas and content opportunities
Management and leadership skills overseeing junior employees, freelancers, and interns in editorial direction of both visual and written tone
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
7+ years experience in marketing role
BA/BS degree
