User Acquisition Specialist
Dotdash is seeking a User Acquisition Specialist to join the Revenue Analytics team. TheUser Acquisition Specialist is tasked with setup and execution of social advertising campaigns in service of our custom content & social ad sales. The successful candidate has a high degree of expertise in paid Social advertising across a variety of platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat). Additional requirements include strong Excel skills, an analytical mindset, comfort with data and strong time management skills.
About Your Contributions:
- Develop, launch and execute paid social campaigns to deliver on client goals & KPIs
- Track delivery & performance of campaigns on a daily basis. Key metrics include cost KPI analysis, engagement with the ads and destination pages and audience composition
- Optimize bid strategy, balancing efficiency with performance and volume
- Optimize creative & messaging to maximize performance and price
- Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders across the Revenue Team
- Act as Social Advertising subject matter expert, working with internal partners to shape how our social and custom content products are packaged and sold
- Measure monthly spend run-rates against internal budgets and flag material variances
- Partner with Data ops to build data visualizations to streamline analysis and gain deeper insights into campaign performance
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest news on social advertising, maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, new technologies and platforms
About You:
- 3+ years in audience acquisition or paid media, with focus on Social and deep understanding of capabilities & strengths of each platform
- Exceptional Excel & Google Sheets skills
- Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe or similar web analytics tools
- Understanding of tracking parameters and the ecosystem in which they function
- Experience with Looker, Tableau or similar BI/analytics platforms is a plus
