about the role:

We’re looking for a highly analytical and customer-obsessed product marketing manager to join our growth team in NYC. You will not only be responsible for messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, but will also be the leader of the promotions strategy. An ideal candidate strives to constantly unlock insights about our customers and competitors to level up our conversion rate optimization program. Your collaboration and organizational skills will be key to success, as you’ll be an internal strategic partner with brand, marketing, design, product, and business intelligence. As one of the first hires in the developing growth team, you’ll get hands on experience while also direct mentorship from growth and product marketing experts.

what you'll do:

• Messaging: partner with brand and product to keep our acquisition and lifecycle marketing internal and external messaging up to date, especially competitively differentiated from our competitors.
• Positioning: partner with business intelligence and product to determine nate’s current and ideal future position in the market.
• Promotions: direct responsibility to direct promotions strategy to optimize Cost per Install, Customer Acquisition Cost, and retention rate – includes discounts, offers, and referrals.
• Go to market plans: partner with marketing to determine when and how acquisition and lifecycle initiatives should launch.

about you:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of experience with at least 1 year with mobile app marketing.
• Experience at technology companies – at startups is a plus.
• Based in NY or willing to relocate, this is an in-person opportunity in our NYC office.
• Direct experience in conducting and documenting user and industry research – expertise in Excel is a must.
• Obsessed with being consumer first - understanding user behavior, pop culture, and trends.
• You’re not afraid to roll with crazy ideas. We’re not cookie cutter people ;) Quick to learn and adapt to overcome challenges. We move fast and change fast.
