Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine a retention strategy, based on data, measuring success and continuous testing/improvement

  • Build out email programs supporting acquisition and retention strategies (welcome, drip, re-engagement, upsell, etc.)

  • Business owner of and in-house expert on all things email -- in close collaboration with other marketing team members as well as Product and Technology

  • As a champion of customer satisfaction, ensure that consumers have an excellent ongoing experience from the point of joining the platform

  • Measure and monitor life-time value and increase the number of engagements and transactions for each user

  • Collaborate with the Acquisition Team to develop and refine effective customer segmentation strategies that inform both acquisition and retention campaigns

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years retention marketing experience, 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally with a marketplace or DTC company

  • Significant experience with managing all aspects of email programs, including platform vendors, campaign setup, testing/optimization

  • Demonstrated experience creating retention marketing campaigns that increase LTV and customer engagement

  • Experience with membership, refer-a-friend programs and other engagement strategies

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills under time constraints
