WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Senior Director of Marketing, North America is an experienced, results-driven and inspiring leader who will design and execute The Trade Desk’s brand marketing strategy for North America. We’re focused on increasing our brand awareness among marketers, technology and business audiences, increasing customer engagement and spend across our agency clients, and attracting top talent. This role will lead the development of our annual marketing plan for North America, working with teams across advertising, events, marketing automation, search, social media, product marketing, partnerships and industry organizations. With direct oversight of demand generation and our customer funnel, this position drives leads, nurtures prospects and, ultimately, increases our share of wallet through integrated marketing campaigns. The person in this role will be an integral contributor to a fast-paced, high-growth company in an industry that is ever-changing.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Build and launch marketing campaigns with measurable impact; develop the strategy, KPIs and plans, ensure coordinated execution and, when appropriate, oversee global campaigns
  • Lead a team of talented, driven marketers; coaching them to excel each day, developing their professional skillset and empowering them to contribute at their highest capability
  • Conduct market research to track brand health and understand target audiences
  • Collaborate with creative and content resources internally and externally to deliver compelling campaign materials
  • Support product launches and work closely with Product Marketing team
  • Manage industry and media partnerships with an eye towards increasing company visibility and executive engagement
  • Ensure alignment with sales and client services with a specific aim to deliver qualified leads, convert prospects and track client engagement
  • Dig into the details while maintaining a high-level outlook on progress and strategy
  • Foster a culture of constant learning and improvement, bringing and supporting new ideas
  • Orient the team around results and operate with clear measurement and goals

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10-15 years of marketing experience
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker and inventive marketer
  • Proven track record for developing an annual marketing plan and driving results
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading and executing 360 campaigns
  • Esteemed leader who is skilled in people development
  • Able to build consensus across peers and leadership
  • Creative approach to solving problems
  • Willing to take calculated risks that support business goals
  • Make a positive contribution to The Trade Desk company and culture
