ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sr. Manager, Affiliate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of affiliate programs for our top clients. You will deliver affiliate best practices with client services excellence. Core responsibilities include driving strategy development, tactical execution, and management of client relationships. As the Sr. Manager of our Affiliate program, you’re a performance marketer at heart. You’re an expert in delivering affiliate best practices with client services excellence. You’re ready to dive into a fast-paced agency environment and accelerate the affiliate efforts within Metric Theory. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop proactive affiliate marketing strategies and tactics based on client-specific goals
• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs 
• Communicate performance results and strategy recommendations to clients & secure buy-in from decision makers 
• Define, monitor, and analyze trends in clients’ metrics & KPIs
• Produce forecasts, budget, and KPI setting for the affiliate program Execute creative and promotion changes based on content calendars 
• Lead all recruitment, activation, payment, compliance and communication to affiliates
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with affiliates to negotiate placements and secure deals
• Develop and implement initiatives to grow affiliate performance through acquisition and retention tactics 
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, communicate performance of the programs, and recommend improvements

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
• 1-2 years of direct affiliate management experience 
• Agency, platform, publisher or in-house experience required
• Knowledge of and experience working with Affiliate Networks (Pepperjam, CJ, Rakuten, etc.) required
• Knowledge of and experience working within e-commerce vertical required 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on negotiations
