Senior Marketing Manager, Medicare

As our Senior Marketing Manager of Medicare, you’ll spearhead our first MA launch while serving as an expert on this space. You’ll partner across the rest of the marketing organization to ensure we successfully launch and growth with an eye to balancing regulatory requirements with Oscar’s unique brand. You’ll be part of a quickly growing Marketing organization at Oscar who is responsible for growth, engagement, retention, and go-to-market operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the Medicare subject matter expert on the marketing team and provide insights and context as appropriate across the team

  • Develop proposed go-to-market launch plan across target segments with recommendations on direct response, provider marketing, events, etc.; project manage our first MA launch with a close eye to compliance

  • Partner closely with sales across direct sales and broker sales to ensure sales readiness and drive growth across channels

  • Help connect the dots across the marketing organization to go-to-market on-time, on-brand, and in compliance with all CMS requirements

  • Ensure compliance across all marketing activities including brand, acquisition, and member marketing with a keen eye to all MA regulatory communications required

  • Work across various marketing functions to provide insight and context to modify existing customer strategies for MA product line (product marketing, operations, brand)

  • Develop and maintain CMS relationship to ensure proper approvals for all required marketing efforts in a timely manner

  • identify and develop relationships with individuals and organizations that influence the buying behavior of our target consumer (e.g.; Providers, Regulators, Faith Based Organizations, and Associations)

Must-have skills:

  • Multiple years of experience navigating Medicare space with strong understanding of regulatory requirements and processes.

  • Proven ability to work across multiple marketing teams and cross-functionally, and balance regulatory requirements with maintaining a brand voice.

  • A knack for operations and building process, with strong project management skills.

  • Scrappy and resourceful, and comfortable in growing, changing environments.

  • Flexible team player.

  • Experience working with CMS and MA-specific software.
