TEAM & POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Client Engagement Team (CET) is the analytic and consultative backbone of Analytic Partners. We believe that the most successful way to service our clients is to employ a business model where the people who are partnering with the client are the same as the people who prepare, analyze, and deliver insightful, data-driven results. Analytic Partners does not offshore or outsource any of our work, it is all done in-house. Therefore, this high-touch service requires a candidate with a passion for analytics, balanced with strong communication and consulting skills.

At Analytic Partners you will advise and partner with large, well-known businesses, many of which are Fortune 500 or 100 companies.  Your work will help influence their strategic and tactical planning for marketing and beyond, creating growth opportunities which are measured in the tens of millions of dollars.  We develop relationships with our clients and meet with senior audiences, from brand managers to media directors to CMOs and CEOs.  You will learn, measure, and be an expert on marketing, from the basics to contributing to the latest innovations and developments. The Senior Marketing Analyst role covers a range of responsibilities in which you will lead the day-to-day elements of projects related to data to enable statistical modeling. This includes processing data for analysis, building data pipelines, creating ETL workflows for automating ongoing projects, and helping drive operational efficiencies.  Your role will include working with big data via hands on data processing specifically in support of Analytic Partners Touchpoint and Customer analytic offerings. 

YOU WILL OWN & COLLABORATE ON:

  • Solutions leveraging big data including Touchpoint Analytics/ user level attribution and customer analyses
  • Process and analyze user/customer and cookie/impression level digital marketing data, including data from CDP, DMP, ad-serving platforms and web analytics platforms to produce structured data sets for analysis
  • Develop processes to enable streamlined operations in production environments, including cloud environments
  • Work with big data via hands on data processing and build cutting edge statistical/econometric models
  • Employ sophisticated analytic methodologies to help clients work through challenging marketing planning issues and business questions
  • Identify & help implement innovative ways to drive efficiency in our data and modeling processes
  • Partner with clients to help them optimize marketing investments and more using sophisticated analytic methodologies, combined with technology and advisory services
  • Ensure statistical models and all deliverables are of high quality and meet the internal quality control guidelines
  • Collaborate as part of a team to drive analyses and insights that lead to more informed decisions and improved business performance
  • Ensure we meet or exceed client expectations on both deliverable milestones and quality
  • Work with team to continuously evolve our statistical methodologies and develop new ways of efficiently and effectively solving complex client business problems
  • Collaborate with the Product Team and share feedback on tools and capabilities
  • Be a go-to expert on client project infrastructure, being able to address ad-hoc questions about data, models, software, etc.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives to drive a culture of agility and organizational efficiency for scalability

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, mathematics, etc.)
  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience working with big data; building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets; manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
  • Prior experience with Python
  • Prior experience with R & Shiny
  • Proficient with SQL and NoSQL
  • Prior experience with cloud services such as AWS: EC2, RDS, Redshift
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc. a plus
  • Technical understanding of probability & statistics, machine learning and optimization algorithms.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Great work ethic and intellectual curiosity
  • Desire and ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Prior experience with customer based analytic solutions such as multi-touch attribution is a plus
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with a team developing and presenting presentations using insights derived from analytics
  • An understanding of how to use data to solve complex business questions and drive business solutions
  • The ability to occasionally travel domestically and/or internationally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills internally and externally
