OkCupid is looking to hire our next Sr. PR Manager!

What You’ll Do

Execute OkCupid’s media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in digital, print, and broadcast outlets

Manage OkCupid’s domestic and international PR firms 

Juggle multiple projects and a variety of stakeholders and oversee multiple agency partners in key markets

Proactively build relationships with media across a variety of verticals- culture, tech, dating, leadership, sex, etc.

Write clear and concise press releases, media alerts, and pitches

Prepare briefing docs and write talking points to prep C-level execs for various speaking engagements and media opportunities

Create and support a regular cadence of OkCupid press across all markets

Respond to all inbound media requests

Evaluate opportunities for brand partnerships

Keep annual calendars of events, targets, and activities organized

Assist in tracking media coverage and PR metrics

Most importantly, be an OkCupid Brand Ambassador 

What We’re Looking For

5-7 years of PR and communication experience, preferably with some agency experience

Strong storytelling ability

Someone who is EXCITED to work with media and journalists - pitches, zooms, meetups, etc.

Agency experience required 

Proven track record of creating and executing successful PR campaigns at a national level

Extensive knowledge of the global media landscape

Experience drafting press releases, media alerts, talking points, briefing docs, and other media assets

Strong relationships with business, consumer and tech outlets on both the local and national level

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
