Senior Retention Associate (Remote OK)

The Senior Retention Associate will help develop and evolve the lifecycle marketing strategy at Grailed. This individual will be responsible for supporting all aspects of email and push production, deployment, and analysis with a goal of increasing GMV and customer lifetime value via engagement, activation and repeat purchase. The role will also assist with maintaining accurate and clean data, and supporting communication strategies from all aspects of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with a digital mindset, who is highly organized, can work independently, and enjoys a fast-paced environment in a fun, teamwork-oriented company. This position reports to the Director of Growth Marketing.
Who you are:
- Experience with Braze or Iterable preferred (or experience with an Enterprise lifecycle platform)
- At least 3 years of experience managing push and email campaigns, preferably for a consumer company with millions of registered users
- Understanding of email and push marketing fundamentals: CAN-SPAM requirements, segmentation, performance metrics, etc.
- Excellent project management, organization, communication and writing skills
- Ability to work well with multiple stakeholders across the company
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data to measure performance
- Results-oriented with a strong ownership mentality
- Strong marketing intuition and creative thinking
Your responsibilities:
- Assist email and push production from end to end including development, QA, deployment
- Assist in email marketing planning, strategy, and timelines
- Work closely will stakeholders across marketing and product to manage campaign submission process and comms calendar
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to maintain the marketing comms calendar and ensure email and push communications are delivered as planned
- Create and segment custom lists for campaign deployment
- Track and analyze campaign metrics to produce ongoing analytical reports and as needed
- Plan, execute and measure A/B experiments
- Assist in push and email marketing strategy development, working cross-functionally across multiple channels and teams
- Liaise with external platforms and vendors in a professional and timely manner
