Your Role


As a Senior SEO Manager at FINN, you will be directly responsible for sustainably driving organic traffic and challenging our organic growth strategy. Collaborate with creatives and content creators to make sure we create best-performing content which delivers value and attracts users. You optimize conversion rates across our content efforts to help us grow our user base. 


This position can be on onsite in either our Munich or NYC HQ. We also welcome fully remote employees for our German team, so long as they are located within a 3 hour time difference of Munich. At this time, we are not accepting fully remote candidates for our US team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Generate inbound growth: Constantly grow the number of acquired users by organic efforts onsite and offsite (e.g. Youtube).
  • Track and improve efficiency: Identify winning content, analyze user behavior on pages and apply your learnings by improving content, targeting keywords and compiling actionable insights for content editors.
  • Build authority by generating backlinks: Identify backlink opportunities and execute offpage initiatives (e.g. PR, third party links,..) to boost our domain authority.
  • Develop a winning SEO strategy: Plan and execute our SEO strategy, focusing on valuable content that solves actual user problems. Provide keywords research to leverage and gain top positions on result pages.
  • Work with a team of cross-functional experts and build a winning tech SEO product: Create input for our product teams to optimize our product for search engines, generate content ideas with editors and content managers, and leverage agencies to ensure a high quality of execution.

Your Profile

  • Graduated top of your class with a Bachelor's degree. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-growing startup or other high-performance environment like a top-tier agency.
  • Experience with technical SEO and the optimization of e-commerce websites across the whole funnel.
  • Experience working with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, ahrefs, Ryte, semrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, as well as headless content management systems.
  • Ideally you have previous experience in ASO and YouTube SEO.
  • Proactive mindset with an ability to think outside the box and enrich the team with new, creative ideas.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable around numbers.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and joy in precise working.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities in an evolving business environment and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Genuine interest in and curiosity about the mobility industry with experience as a plus.
  • You are fluent in English. Proficient knowledge in German is a plus.

The salary for this role will be within the range of $83,500 to $135,000. This is the lowest and highest salary that we in good faith believe to be fair for this role at the time of this posting, and is only applicable to jobs located in New York City. However, the actual salary offered may be more or less than the range posted. Factors that may influence an employee's pay within this range include, but are not limited to, their qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, education level, seniority, and performance. This compensation range may also be subject to change in the future.
