MakerBot is seeking a social media rock star with a strong foundation in leading campaigns across multiple social media platforms. This role will touch everything from copywriting and multimedia production to customer service and, ultimately, spearheading the voice of MakerBot to our loyal followers in new and innovative ways. You don’t have to have experience in everything, but you should have a robust engagement-focused mindset and a strong opinion about how to leverage the strengths of each social media platform to tell great stories and drive business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and optimize content across all MakerBot social media channels.
• Take an innovative approach to driving engagement and visitors to MakerBot digital properties.
• Create strategies for, manage, and measure multiple social media campaigns.
• Write clutter-free copy with style, intelligence, and insight that leads to CTAs.
• Have a strong opinion in matters of storytelling and how words and visuals work together.
• Be able to measure performance and take an agile approach towards pivoting when and where necessary.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in a social media, agency, or similar role managing social platforms
• BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
• Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and measure social media campaigns.
• Understanding of inbound marketing and funnel-driven marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability of being an effective digital storyteller.
• Excellent communicator and highly-skilled copywriter capable of expressing enthusiasm and emotion through glass screens.
• Efficient with a graphic editing program (e.g. Photoshop)
• Ability to lend your excellent copywriting skills to other projects as needed.
• Passionate about staying ahead of the trend curve.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Extreme attention to detail.
