You will be supported by and partner with senior leaders who have deep experience in marketing and mar-tech.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing leader with a proven record of creating marketing strategy and delivering results for B2C companies. The ideal candidate knows how to develop a creative and media buying strategy AND relishes getting their hands dirty -- we are a fast-moving startup that’s growing quickly. You are also someone who knows how to balance data-driven decision making, with a consistent creative vision. You will enter the role with a small team, which we expect you to shape & grow, while also expanding our marketing channels: content marketing, social media (paid & organic), email, display, affiliate marketing, SEM, even OOH, and radio if you see fit. We have created a solid foundation of PR (see our 3rd NYTimes Real Estate Section cover story in 6 months) -- you will have the opportunity to further enhance this core capability as well.

Experience partnering with product and BI teams to inform the product roadmap is a must; experience we're excited for you to bring to the team. Sometimes the product team can lead development of a solution; at other times marketing is the best suited to lead. Your experience will help us continue to be an agile and highly collaborative organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Shape and build Localize.city as a leading brand and ensure our story is positioned thoughtfully throughout all external channels.
  • Scale paid and organic acquisition efforts, create new channels and incorporate new tools to manage the marketing operation.
  • Build and lead the user acquisition strategy to achieve growth KPIs and goals.
  • Partner with our Product and BI teams to monitor user analytics, identify problems and opportunities within the funnels or core product, and collaboratively develop solutions.
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a team to achieve performance and brand marketing goals
  • Stay ahead of the industry in terms of new tools, technologies and best practices, regularly testing new ideas to help our business grow more efficiently.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience in B2C companies
  • Demonstrated success leading and growing a high-performing B2C marketing team.
  • Solid track record of successfully scaling marketing efforts in a growth-oriented company; having designed, developed, and driven overall marketing strategy & execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to demonstrate data interpretation.
  • Experienced in creating, running and analyzing ATL & BTL campaigns.
