About the Role:


As the Vice President of Revenue & Product Marketing at Transfix, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and you will build and oversee a team of revenue marketers, product marketers, and operations specialists that focuses on creating, capturing, nurturing, and growing demand for Transfix’s products and services. You will also partner closely with our Marketing, Product, Data, Sales, and Talent teams to ensure the proper activation of our brand narrative in the market.

In this role, you and your team will spearhead go-to-market strategy and execute plans to drive adoption for new and existing products, features, and services through integrated marketing campaigns.

Revenue Marketing:

  • Build a scalable, predictable revenue engine (tech, data, programs, processes, people)
  • Develop and refining Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) & demand generation models to inform acquisition strategies 
  • Create demand in market through brand awareness campaigns, experiential marketing, events, and other creative endeavors
  • Capture new buyers using inbound/outbound strategies, ensuring data hygiene, website Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Develop alignment and processes across the entire customer journey to increase win rates while lowering acquisition costs
  • Create campaigns to expand our share of wallet with our customers via campaigns, and events, while also turning them into loyal advocates via customer referral and advocacy programs, Customer Advisory Boards (CABs), etc.
  • Analyze and optimize media spend around revenue and customer acquisition cost (CAC) objectives, focusing on data-driven tactics
  • Determine our revenue and product marketing KPIs and build the dashboards that each functional area of Marketing team needs to execute effectively in the context of the larger functional goals
  • Own the Revenue Marketing budget; build financial forecasts and projections that relate to the cost and return on investment for experiments, both large and small

Product Marketing:

  • Develop a deep understanding our customers' needs (1st party research), market changes & trends (3rd party research), and the competitive landscape, and synthesize this into usable information for functions across Transfix
  • Create & amplify our core value proposition (messaging, storytelling, analyst relations)
  • Support sales enablement (sales cycle training, product training, messaging training, competitive intelligence, etc.)
  • Ensure our existing customers are maximizing their value from Transfix by conducting customer surveys, developing in-platform education, video tutorials, guidebooks, events, and more across the customer lifecycle 

You’ll Know this Role is for You If You Bring:

  • 10+ years in revenue marketing and, with adjacencies or direct experience in product marketing
  • 5+ years of experience successfully leading a team and a strong passion for helping talented people tap into their full potential
  • Proven success building a scalable revenue engine; you can demonstrate the success of your efforts by telling a specific numbers-based story with examples
  • Successfully driven cross-departmental alignment and collaboration; you’ve partnered with Sales, Customer Experience, Product, and other teams to develop and implement a successful Revenue and Product Marketing strategy
  • A highly analytical mind, with the ability to leverage data to derive insights and take action
  • A playbook that you’re ready to implement (~85%), but an interest in developing Transfix-specific marketing strategies once you’ve developed a deep understanding of our business through creative, data-driven experiments 

  • *Note: While you will be building a team over time, you will be expected to be extremely hands-on in the short-term, building out our tech stack, creating revenue models, establishing processes, and running campaigns.

Transfix's NYC HQ is steps from the Oculus and Fulton Center, with access to subway train lines. We are close to tons of restaurants, shops. We are on the top floor so have wonderful light and breathtaking views, including a spectacular view of One World Trade from our outdoor rooftop deck!
