Product & Design Engineer

As we prepare for an exciting phase of growth and launch new product offerings, we are looking for a seasoned Product Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Product Engineer who is passionate about building AI-driven platforms that redefine customer interactions over the phone. In this role, you will design and develop key components of our AI phone agent systems, ensuring they meet our high standards of usability and integration.

Our product design is similar to software products like Linear– we're looking for someone who has a similar eye for minimalism.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient systems that power our software platform.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate our solutions with existing customer technologies.
• Continuously improve our product based on direct feedback from customers and internal teams.
• Engage in the full product lifecycle from conception through release, focusing on usability, high availability, and minimal customer support requirements.
• Contribute strategically to the development of new features and the overall growth of our technology offerings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development with a strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Skilled in programming languages such as TypeScript, and frameworks like Next.js.
• Experience building design systems and component libraries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical approach to building and improving complex systems.
• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and gathering meaningful feedback.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
