The Role: 

As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for being the go-to expert on your segment of the K-12 education market. You’ll empathize with and prioritize the content needs of teachers, students, and buyers in order to design, test, and scale the best content production solutions for the K-12 Specials market across the country (and around the world). From idea to launch, you’ll evaluate and manage products in your portfolio to simultaneously move the needle in education and achieve Newsela’s business objectives. You’ll be a key player in helping design, test, and scale our content products to meet our user needs.

You have 3 years experience in market analysis, and are comfortable surveying and interviewing users to develop in depth quantitative and qualitative insights that drive product recommendations and development. You’re inquisitive and thoughtful, with an adept ability to pinpoint the crux of a problem and use data to build a solution while advocating for our users. You know how to balance passion with patience, and leverage your communication skills to inform product roadmap based on user and buyer needs. You’re excited to become a subject-matter-expert in whatever problem is at hand, and inspire your team to become equally passionate about solving a given problem.
