In order to most effectively prevent injuries in a given operational environment, we work closely with each client across many dedicated and leading-edge teams, including client services, data and engineering, IT security and others. Each safety program is tailored to the needs of the workers on the ground and the managers who oversee them, including what types of safety wearables and attachment options will suit them best, and the look and cadence of the safety reports that we’ll provide. The result is an actionable and scalable safety solution that seamlessly becomes part of a facility’s daily routine and is proven to prevent workplace injuries by as much as 64% across hundreds or thousands of Industrial Athletes.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this role as Executive Director of Product Management, you will prioritize and orchestrate the delivery and growth of the FUSE Risk Management Platform across our growing list of enterprise customers. Your job is to define the vision and roadmap across our various product offerings and align execution across the entirety of our product development teams. You will need to interface with end users, executive customers, to our internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, client success, engineering, design, operations, and finance. 

You will ensure we are prioritizing the right mountains to climb and build consensus around business, customer, and product value. You know how to play the long and short game, ensuring we’re able to keep score and clearly measure our outcomes. You not only have deep empathy and understand the value of user experience in solving pain points but you can also wear multiple hats of sales, marketing, engineering, customer service, and executive stakeholders. You understand the value of working in a team, how to build trust, meaningful relationships, and that to go further - you have to go together.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Product Lead Culture

• Evangelize StrongArm’s mission, “To Keep Every Industrial Athlete Proud. Protected. Productive” internally within StrongArm and externally with our customers
• Foster a product management culture that is innovative, collaborative, curious, and focused on the customer and company mission
• Formulate and articulate a long-term strategic product strategy/vision that support overall company goals, mission and effectively drive consensus across the organization

Results driven 

• Define the outcomes that demonstrate the product strategy/vision success and drive the product team towards those measurable outcomes
• Work closely and Prioritize with key customers and users to discover, validate, and ensure their success, manage escalations, requirements analysis and product planning activities
• Drive the timely delivery of features and capabilities that maximizes customer, partner, and company value

Organizational Growth

• Lead a product management culture so every team member deeply cares about team velocity, quality, trust, recruiting, and delighting our customers
• Leadership and management of product managers including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management
• Oversee product operations cross-functionally from design, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

• 15+ years experience delivering software platform products used by multiple end-user stakeholders, ideally in an enterprise SaaS environment
• Experience with building products across multiple platforms in web and mobile, leveraging data analytics and insights as a service
• Experience with IoT, hardware, or wearables are a huge plus
• Innovation and critical thinking - track record of driving companies through transformative change with the ability to see the big-picture while also being hands-on in the details
• Demonstrated leadership - ability to inspire/lead/recruit/retain successful product management teams
• Data-driven - outcomes oriented and a problem solver
• Customer obsessed - passionate about the customer journey and the customer experience
• Possesses a high dose of common sense and impeccable communication skills – high level of comfort in discussions with engineers, non technical stakeholders and CEO’s alike.
