The Position:

We’re looking for an IT Application Product Manager to join Team Snap Inc.! You will primarily be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation and operational support of Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS) and master data management cloud (EDMCS). FCC experience will be a plus.

As a member of the Finance Technology team, you will work with Finance, Engineering, and internal business units to support our corporate Financials application strategy and roadmap for Oracle EPM tools, like Workforce Planning, Capital, and FInancials module in EPBCS; Financial Close and Consolidations; EDMCS. You will be responsible for the operations of this critical cloud-based business application.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and manage Snap’s Oracle EPBC and EDMCS cloud applications

  • Administer Workforce, Capital and Financials module in EPBCS

  • Collaborate and partner with finance, IT and engineering resources to deliver a product our finance team loves

  • Coordinate system upgrade activity, respond to issues and incidents, and, at times, provide day-to-day administration/front-line support

  • Design, scope (functional and technical), build and test innovative solutions that automate and scale Snap’s EPBC and EDMCS applications in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner

  • Proactively identify potential issues and areas for opportunities by leveraging your own knowledge and experiences, and from partnerships with the finance owners; propose process, data, or systematic solutions to those opportunities

  • Evaluate third-party software products for solutions, as appropriate. Manage relationships with those Vendors in a positive way

  • Manage system adoption and satisfaction, including training users on the application relevant to their jobs, and provide support to users and maintain proper system access

  • Document and follow formal policies, procedures, and protocols for changes, customization, standards, usage, etc.

  • Keep your internal customers and management up-to-date on all roadmap initiatives

  • Experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional/technical specifications, configuration/build/test of applications, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users

  • Experience with full system implementation life-cycles of at least one implementation (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to create both financial statements and management reporting for public companies

  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS accounting standards

  • Essbase skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including data reconciliations

  • Project Management capabilities; develop requirements, estimate work efforts, etc.

  • Understanding of the financial close cycle and related best practices

  • Experience with foreign currency translation and the effect of currency translation on the financial statements

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

  • 7+ year of experience with Hyperion Planning, and/or EPBCS, EDMCS

  • Experience with 1+ full cycle Oracle Planning Cloud or Consolidation Cloud implementation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • EPBCS or Hyperion Planning certification

  • Oracle FCCS Certification

  • Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems

  • Experience in the financial consolidations and close processes will be a plus, including eliminations

  • Act as lead to a small team or has people management experience

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
