The Supply Chain Planner is a critical role in balancing the sales plan with production forecasting at our contract manufacturer, and maintain all inventory of finished goods, spare parts, and consumables worldwide. It’s highly analytical and also cross-functional, working alongside our Finance, Sales, and Sales-Operations departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop rolling forecast for all finished goods, spare parts and consumables.
  • Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels at warehouse (US and Europe) and repair center to ensure good balance between availability and cost.
  • Drive the PO creation process for inventory product with Procurement team.
  • Track all finished goods from manufacturer to arrival at warehousing facilities worldwide.
  • Communicate and lead all planning activities with contract manufacturer in China including weekly teleconferences and forecasting.
  • Measure contract manufacturer on predetermined planning KPIs.
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory at contract manufacturer and warehouse.
  • Responsibility for effects of BOM changes on spare parts and inventory.
  • Contribute to the monthly S&OP review meeting with analysis of past performance and outlook to the future quarter.
  • Work with various cross-functional teams on projects such as new product launches and product end of life.
  • Function as a key advisor to various stakeholders for supply-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning role
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP system
  • Advanced business knowledge of sales, merchandising and forecasting
  • Strong experience with Demand/Supply matching modeling, analysis and reporting.
  • Highly organized and enjoy fast-paced working environment
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Experience with Access and SQL is a plus!
