Zearn is on a mission to ensure that all children love and learn math, and we’re looking for a Product Analyst to join our growing team. This New York City-based position will help to build Zearn’s digital fluency product, which is a suite of gamified math activities that students complete at the start of every lesson. These activities are designed to help students build foundational number sense, reinforce previously learned skills, and support ongoing grade-level learning by developing students’ procedural fluency and preparing them for upcoming content. As a Product Analyst, you will be involved in all aspects of the product development process: from content creation, to monitoring student performance data, and planning new features.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain expertise in K-8 math, with a focus on fluency content
  • Deeply learn Zearn’s approach to fluency, become an expert in Zearn’s suite of fluency activities, and learn how fluency content is created today
• Assist with end-to-end content creation for all grade-levels
  • Help draft fluency content for each lesson
  • Translate content drafts into the Zearn app & iterate on improvements based on feedback from the product team
  • Review fluency activities in-app to ensure an error-free experience for students and ensure all features function as desired
• Use student performance data to identify fluency activities where students are struggling most and propose content solutions to better support students
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Zearn’s product, engineering, and design teams to ensure a smooth product development and content release process
• Develop a holistic understanding of our users’ needs, encompassing everything from compliance with accessibility standards to how to author content that is friendly for kids

Ideal candidates will have:

• BA or BS with 2+ years of work experience
• Excitement to work with K-8 math content and to think about your work from a student’s perspective
