We’re looking for a tech-savvy Product Manager to join Laika as we look to expand our Product team and create a best-in-class tool for security compliance management.

  • Are you customer-centric and a creative problem solver?
  • Are you passionate about working with engineers and do you have experience communicating complex product requirements?
  • Are you ready to channel your aspirations and creativity into building user-centered products and driving positive and significant business impact?
  • Are you highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and a strong bias towards getting things done?
  • Are you an advocate of revolutionizing the security compliance field with cutting edge features and enhanced customer experiences?

If so, let’s talk!

At its core, this job is about owning and managing product development from start to finish. You will be responsible for gathering requirements from sources both internal and external, conducting competitive analysis, conceptualizing new features and enhancements, ruthlessly prioritizing features, communicating product specifications to engineers, managing day to day delivery, and tracking the success metrics of launched features over time.

Why should you work with us?
Laika combines simple software with expert support to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Laika helps you adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, etc. by 50% or more.

We were founded in May 2019 and have received investment from top VCs, including Bain Capital, Third Prime, and Nyca Partners. We're growing customers and revenue like crazy and poised for break-out growth over 2022.

Essential day-to-day activities include:

  • Applying strategic thinking based on information obtained through formal requirements gathering exercises to creatively conceptualize new features and enhancements to the product experience
  • Driving features forward in bi-weekly sprints and prioritizing their completion
  • Acting as a bridge between Design and Engineering teams to facilitate their interactions as well as providing clarity to product development questions as they arise
  • Helping to develop quarterly product roadmap with buy-in from cross-functional teams to unite behind and deliver common goals
  • Managing feature releases and ensure smooth rollouts through proper communication to impacted parties both internally and externally
  • Ruthlessly managing dependencies and performing data-driven prioritization of the team’s backlog to ensure the team is making maximum customer impact
  • Creating and launching market-leading product offerings in partnership with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer experience
  • Analyzing and dispersing relevant product analytics/insights using product metrics
