What You Will Do

As Neverware's Product Manager, you will be in charge of the company's strategic and tactical approach to products, ensuring that regular, stable releases with impactful features reach our customers. To do this, you’ll need to become the nexus of all things product-related, the champion of internal coherence, and the ideal resource for every colleague. Interfacing with every group in the company as well as directly with customers and users, you’ll make sure individual, departmental, and organizational goals align with our product roadmap, and vice versa.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take the lead on:

• Planning and organizing engineering sprints and product releases
• Monitoring the health of the product, identifying possible risks for customers, and appropriately escalating bug reports working with Operations, Support, and QA
• Translating the Product Roadmap into discrete, prioritized tasks, interfacing directly with engineers to ensure clarity and completeness

Work closely with the Director of Product to:

• Collect input and feedback from existing and prospective customers, including proactive outreach
• Coordinate feedback from, and assess needs of, all internal departments to ensure our products serve them
• Synthesize and combine internal, external, and strategic insights to define and evolve a prioritized Product Roadmap

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience as a project or product manager working directly with technical teams
• 3+ years of total experience working on technology products, preferably at an early-stage company
• Thorough and intellectually honest; committed to understanding a problem in as much detail as is required, and clear about what isn’t known
• Exceptional communication skills, with a history of working collaboratively across departments
• Structured and process-oriented thinker, able to articulate a vision and assess related risk for all decisions
• Comfort spanning commercial, user-facing, and technical aspects of Neverware’s products

Bonus For

• Familiarity with Linux, Chrome OS, and the wider OS market
• Experience working as an engineer/developer, or on a software team
• Knowledge of Enterprise IT landscape
