What you'll do

  • When we launched Anchor Sponsorships, we doubled the number of podcasters who’d ever been able to monetize via ads within the first month. Now, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Product Manager to help us build the next generation of podcast advertising. You’ll get to work cross-functionally with the Anchor team, but also collaborate with many teams across Spotify
  • In this role, you will:

  • Help shape the roadmap for Anchor Sponsorships, including working closely with design, engineering, insights, and other Spotify product teams to implement
  • Meet regularly with external users (podcast creators, podcast listeners, and advertisers) and internal stakeholders to ensure we are building the right products, tracking success metrics, and communicating developments
  • Come up with aggressive goals and deadlines for this platform - and hit them

Who you are

  • An experienced PM, with 3+ years of professional experience building or working with advertising platforms. You must have a solid technical understanding of the components of an ad tech stack, including API integrations
  • A big picture thinker, willing and able to build out a complex strategy and see it through
  • Excited by the prospect of working alongside teams responsible for powering ad experiences that support not just traditional advertising, but also new experiences that can democratize and modernize podcast monetization
  • Organized and results-driven, can manage multiple projects extending across many teams, stick to realistic deadlines, and push back when necessary
  • An exceptional communicator, comfortable with both writing and presenting to get your ideas heard and get buy-in from a variety of stakeholders
  • Collaborative, and able to both give and receive direct feedback to help things progress efficiently
  • Creative in all the right ways. You’re bursting with unconventional ideas, and not afraid to give them all a try… but you also know how to balance those fun ideas with reality, resources, and business needs
  • All about execution. You have a proven ability to effectively execute, deliver, and quickly iterate without a lot of direct supervision
  • A fan of audio. This is just a bonus, but if you’ve worked with audio in the past, whether professionally or as a personal project (podcasting, music discovery/recommendations, etc), we’ll be even more excited to add you to our team.
