ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton is looking for a Senior Director, Product Analytics to lead the Product Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Product. As a user-centered, outcomes-driven Product organization, Peloton relies on the Product Analytics team to deliver strategic insights, reporting capabilities, and A/B testing to inform our direction, roadmap, and resource allocation.
The Senior Director, Product Analytics will lead our ~15 person team of analysts and data scientists to ensure we have the right data infrastructure and tooling, strong data and insight deliverables (include self-serve product dashboarding), and an engaged, growing, and high performing team. This role also sits on the SVP Product’s leadership team and provides a key voice of user and business insight into strategic conversations and business prioritization.
The ideal candidate combines outstanding business acumen and communication skills with solid analytical skills, with experience managing and developing teams of analysts and data scientists.\
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Product Analytics infrastructure
- Implement effective, flexible, issue-identifying data collection system for Product key events as a platform for Product Analytics. Interface cleanly with centralized data warehouses. Establish anomaly detection and other data hygiene systems
- Choose modern, valuable tooling for Product Analytics and split (A/B) testing. Stay on top of new offerings to upgrade the team's capabilities over time, including using LLMs to increase team effectiveness. Translate new software capabilities into training for analytics and PMs

Team deliverables
- Automate and distribute key dashboards for leaders and teams to better run the business and understand user context
- Provide systems and resources for PMs to cleanly pull datasets themselves and create their own reports (currently in Looker and Amplitude). Your team creates leverage by supporting PMs to solve important problems themselves, with guidance
- Deliver effective A/B testing. Your team supports simple A/B testing by PMs themselves and/or implements complex tests alongside PMs. Tests themselves are well designed to deliver actionable insights

- Ensure growth-minded culture and learning capabilities that support your entire organization's development and skill building, including industry scientific capabilities such as statistical modeling, exploratory data analysis, and causal inference
- Continuously enhance your own knowledge of product analytics frameworks and best practices,- (in a world of quickly evolving LLMs/machine learning and general new approaches to problem solving).
- Implement team learning and implementation of these new approaches
- Champion a data- and outcome-driven culture inside and outside your team
- Continuously maintain and uplevel high performance standards across your team
