ABOUT THE TEAM

The Analytical Operations team is responsible for progressing, standardizing and fortifying Basis' analytical capabilities by providing guidance and support to Basis' client facing teams throughout the country. This team is charged with improving existing analytical processes and formulating new strategies to bring data and analytics into the forefront of Basis' day-to-day offering. We work closely with teams throughout the country and are often called upon to provide analytical expertise in client meetings, presentations, and pitches. 


The Sr Analytical Operations Specialist will be responsible for leading the creation, implementation, standardization and overall success of the processes and procedures put in place by the Analytical Operations team ranging from data management usage, data visualization, CRM targeting and custom attribution model creation. You will work very closely with members of the senior strategy team, clients and internal technical leads to identify areas where improvement is needed, recommend solutions to address these areas and implement them across campaigns. Finally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior level associates on the Analytical Operations team. You will contribute by:

WAYS YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Leading the adoption, rollout and evolution of data management capabilities and acting as subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading internal and external conversations about our analytical capabilities with a solutions mindset on what’s possible
  • Providing data flow guidance and assist Basis' client facing teams & clients
  • Investigating, vetting and implementing new analytical solutions to support Basis' clients
  • Owning the management of Basis' data visualization tool
  • Developing new processes and procedures to support Basis' analytical capabilities
  • Mentoring junior member(s) of the Analytical Operations team
  • Working closely with members of the technology team to drive and operationalize analytical solutions

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 4+ years of Marketing, Advertising, or Analytics experience
  • Self-starter
  • Strong independent thinking
  • Proven communication and organization skills
  • Ability to thrive and lead in a team environment and be a team player
  • Adaptable/Flexible
  • Enjoys fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) and some data visualization tool
