Some Challenges You’ll Tackle

Duties: Build technologies and experiences that increase the number of new diners to GrubHub from organic channels. Optimize title tags and ensure crawler accessibility to all JavaScript. Execute on inbound link-earning initiatives and disseminate relevant search engine optimization news to internal teams. Work closely with other project managers on other teams across the organization to ensure that best practices are baked into our requirements and development process. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, and other business teams on initiatives that grow the organic search authority of our sites. Create and lead the implementation of SEO growth and project plans. Forecast business impact of planned projects, and help drive crossfunctional alignment on prioritization of work within the organization. Optimize and implement natural search marketing activities and best practices across all major search engines including Google, Bing, and Yahoo. Stay current with Google and Bing algorithm changes and new advanced in SEO best practices, vendor capabilities, and competitive landscape

You Should Have

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Design, Technology Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of search engine optimization (SEO) experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Design, Technology Management, or a related field, plus 4 years of search engine optimization (SEO) experience. Also requires 3 years of experience with each of the following: experience building customerfacing websites; managing websites with organic search traffic; working with SEO best practices, search-ranking algorithms, and Google Webmaster Tools. Requires 5 years of experience working with each of the following (for candidates with a Bachelor's degree), or 4 years working with of each of the following (for candidates with a Master's degree): HTML, Javascript, CSS, redirects, Google Analytics, Excel. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience.
