The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

We are looking for an experienced Staff Product Manager to join our Global Experiences product area and take ownership of Search, Navigation, Dashboard and Settings experiences. This is a strategic and rewarding role that will work cross-functionally with customers, other technical teams, and senior leadership to ensure extremely core and highly trafficked surfaces of Personio are easy and satisfying to use for all current and future personas. You will be responsible for developing the strategy for these shared surfaces as well as establishing principles and governance models for other teams to adopt in order to provide a great user experience.
You have spent 5+ years building incredible product experiences for B2B or B2C platforms with diverse product offerings. You are comfortable working with designers and engineers to identify and develop performant and scalable experiences that users love. You can drive collaboration on cross-platform initiatives with other product teams.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
- Understand, co-create, articulate and evolve the vision and purpose of Dashboard, Search, Navigation and Settings along with your Design and Engineering counterparts
- Develop a scalable design and technical system for other teams to build into
- Ensure effective documentation, adoption and enforcement of the systems and principles you have outlined for your surfaces in order to maintain a robust user experience
- Align your team around strategic goals, relevant KPIs, and measures of success
- Create a short, mid, and long-term strategy for the each of the surfaces to create more efficient user experiences in line with industry best practices and opportunities
- Break down complex problems and write clear documentation in collaboration with Design, Engineering, and product leadership
- Systematically analyze customer feedback in collaboration with Design, User Research, and customer-facing stakeholders
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
- At least 5-7 years of experience in product management in a B2B or B2C multi-product company building customer-facing products
- Have experience thinking about or creating systems for other teams to adopt or build into
- Work in a complex product area using analytical problem-solving skills to make decisions
- Have a business, technical or design background, a highly collaborative mindset, and direct experience implementing best-in-class solutions with design and engineering counterparts
- Relevant experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership; ability to work collaboratively in a result-oriented way
- Fluent in English
- Bonus: Human Resources / Complex organizations domain knowledge
