Here at FanDuel we're committed to creating an industry-leading sports product that users find engaging and exciting. As a UX Researcher, you'll be responsible for helping a cross-disciplinary team develop a deeper understanding of our users and their needs. Along with our other researchers, you’ll be a key contributor to our collective knowledge base. You’ll act as a liaison to other research-oriented groups at the company and drive the visibility and interest in design research. It’ll be your job to work with product managers to make sure the company is building experiences that drive satisfaction, solve pain points and deliver on key metrics.

Who we're looking for

Mastery of UX research methodologies 

You have a wealth of experience conducting a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies including in-person & remote interviews, task analysis, persona development, customer experience mapping, survey writing, A/B testing, analytics (SQL, periscope, mixpanel, etc) and more. You know what kinds of experiments to run at the right moments. You’re comfortable and patient enough to teach your skills to others.

Team Player

You’re not shy when it comes to networking with people to get what your team needs. Sometimes that means reaching out to an engineer to help get an analytics package installed. Other times it’s partnering with a designer to make a more realistic prototype. You’re at peace with knowing that you can’t do it all yourself and extroverted enough to form the partnerships to make it happen. You’re comfortable navigating through ambiguity.

Written and verbal communication skills

You know what the point is and can get it across to others. You tell stories that inspire. People walk away from conversations with you feeling like they learned something. You keep your emails succinct because you empathize with people who have full mailboxes.

Application of knowledge

You’re able to translate your findings and recommendations into well thought-out solutions. You won’t be expected to deliver pixel-perfection, but you’re fluent in making flow diagrams, sketches, wireframes and prototypes.
