The Turbo team is working on a new real-time game format, representing the next generation of casual fantasy sports. We released NBA InPlay for the 2016-17 season and are looking to expand the team for next season. We’re a small team, a startup within a startup, with the mission of exploring this emerging style of gameplay.

Skills:

Great attention to detail 
Lots of little things add up to big things. It's important that you sweat the details and craft elegant, and compelling designs. 

Consideration of the experience
It's important that you think beyond the basic aesthetics and really understand any problem you're trying to solve. You should always know the why, so you can support the what.

Previous native experience
The majority of our users are mobile based, so it's important you understand the iOS and Android platforms inside out, and know when it's right to use an existing native pattern versus something you invent.

Thinking beyond the static
How do your designs come to life? We believe in dynamic, engaging interfaces where animation is used in a graceful fashion to enhance a user's experience and add intent to our interactions. 

Maintaining a consistent visual language
The Turbo team is young, but our games are growing quickly. As we add new features, we must maintain the general consistency and cohesion of the visual language. You’ll be instrumental in developing a strategy, and visual standards that are flexible enough to grow with the product itself.

Collaboration
You’ll work not only with other designers but with various stakeholders to ensure the creative vision of the product itself. You'll be able to clearly articulate your thinking and work with engineering to not only understand what solves the problem but what is ultimately feasible.

Who we're looking for

• Ability to clearly articulate and work cross-functionally to produce the creative vision of the product
• Managing design areas such as typography, iconography, color, space and texture. 
• Refining other people's idea's and coming up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience
• At the forefront of the industries latest standards, changes and trends
• Expert level skills in Photoshop, Sketch, and motion software (After Effects) 
• Someone with a good sense of humor
