Job Description

The Manufacturing Strategy and Portfolio Management Office (S&PMO) is responsible for creating and delivering the manufacturing divisional strategy. The team designs, executes, and monitors processes required to deliver on our Manufacturing Division strategic portfolio commitments. This includes integrating key strategy elements needed to transform the business with ongoing project/initiative elements required to run and improve the business. The team provides project, program, and/or change management support for prioritized projects within the divisional portfolio. This includes program leadership of the Future Talent program which involves partnering with Global Talent Acquisition, orchestration of our Intern super week, coordination of Fall university recruiting, and leading a Community of Practice with hiring managers, campus ambassadors.
In this role, you will report to Executive Director, Head of Strategy & PMO and be responsible for the Future Talent program management as well as hold change management responsibilities. This individual must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be hands-on. This role requires strong partnership and communication skills to enable interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders, problem-solving skills, rapid disciplined decisions, and prioritization of work.
AD Project Management responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Project Management - Setting and driving execution against project outcomes (ex. Recruiting timeline)
- Stakeholder Management - Working with cross-functional teams including HR and various hiring managers across our Manufacturing Division operations/functional areas, and our Company Research Laboratories
- Risk Management - Identify and manage execution risk and escalate when appropriate
- Strategy Development - Collaborating effectively with Enterprise level teams, functional areas, and support functions to drive project delivery.
- Budget management - Future Talent budget includes working with vendors and funding university events
- Change management - Support divisional change management capability strategy and transformational projects as needed
- Communication skills - Develop effective communication materials targeted for your audience
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree required
Required Experience and Skills:
- 7 years of experience with BA/BS, 5 years of experience with MS, 3 years of experience with PhD
- Strong and persuasive communication and presentation skills at all levels (executive, customer, individual contributor) as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to develop high-quality working relationships both internally and externally
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, and the ability to identify and escalate scenarios that may represent risk exposures for the company
- Proven leadership skills spanning both strategic and functional roles
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations, formulate a plan and drive outcomes
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in future talent programs
- Project Management certification desired
- Change Management Execution or Strategy Realization Framework training
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and project managing large, complex, cross-functional/cross-divisional projects and portfolios of projects
- Demonstrated strong cross-functional team leadership abilities and experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing strategy and ability to think strategically
- Knowledge of regulatory / industry requirements to work in a tightly regulated environment
- Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (pharmaceutical experience preferred)
- Operational Excellence/our Company Production System experience

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$122,800.00 - $193,300.00
