Event Marketing Manager
The Datadog Events Team is looking for an Event Marketing Program Manager to support Datadog's customer events, including our flagship annual conference, DASH. The position will report to the Director of Event Marketing. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of event marketing experience, and is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under deadline. Travel, both domestic and international, is required and will be approximately 20% for this role.
In this role, you will help lead and establish best-practices when it comes to communications, enablement, event technology, and project management as it relates to Datadog's first party customer events.

What You'll Do:
- Event Communications
- Create and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for each event, including: promotional emails, social media and other first-line communications to customers. This will include drafting copy and obtaining buy-in and approval from cross-functional stakeholders, as required.
- Maintain internal communication portals, including: project web pages on Confluence, slide decks for leadership and team updates, and dashboards for registration and sales leaderboard reporting.
- Support builds for event website landing and registration pages.
- Sales Enablement
- Support and implement effective sales enablement strategies that empower the sales team to maximize their performance at events.
- Support and maintain a suite of sales enablement tools, including but not limited to invite templates, phone talking points, and digital collateral in effort to drive awareness and registration for customer events.
- Attend and present event updates at regional sales gatherings.
- Event Reporting and Analytics
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to inform future marketing strategies.
- Analyze event performance and provide reports on attendee engagement.
- Event Operations and Technology
- Coordinate build of technology solutions for events (Cvent), including virtual and in-person formats
- Ability to travel onsite for events and oversee execution of onsite communications, including social media and mobile app push notifications.
Who You Are:
- Event Marketer or Program Manager with 4+ years working on high-profile, international programs in team setting (B2B/tech preferred)
- Strong writing skills and experience building and presenting slide decks
- Experience with the following platforms preferred: Cvent, Marketo, Salesforce, Jira
- A highly organized and resourceful individual who is able to work independently and simultaneously on multiple projects
- Creative, innovative, curious and results driven
- Solutions oriented and willing to jump into a variety of tasks
