Description and Requirements
Duties: Provide application development and support in the planning, delivery and business processes utilizing information technology and business practices for strategic business units. Design and implement complex changes impacting processes. Support, evaluate and improve information technology and business processes to align with business plans of medium-high complexity and medium-high risk. Analyze issues in application and create task. Participate in requirement discussion and user story grooming sessions and create Restful web service using Spring Restful API, working on different databases. Use Postman and Soap UI to test the services and deploy them into Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). Participate in deployments of New Jar's and code deployments. Create business logics to describe scenarios utilizing Java 8 functionalities. Fix bugs in various modules identified in applications during integration testing.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Computational Sciences (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of software development experience building enterprise scale distributed applications. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) -- must possess the following: building Microservices using Spring Boot; building CI/CD pipelines using Python or YAML; containerizing services and APIs to run on EC2 instances using Docker or Kubernetes; performing MongoDB building, retrieving and storing collections in NOSQL database; and building and debugging stored procedures in PL/SQL on RDBMS DB2. Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote.
