Account Executive
The Account Executive is one of the most critical and influential members of the Flatiron Sales team. The Account Executive team focuses on being a strategic resource for existing customers, and are responsible for delivering value-driven solutions and creating irreplaceable relationships. Ultimately, the Account Executive aims to continually improve and deepen the success and satisfaction of our customers by working collaboratively with the Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Product, Business Development, Sales and Sales Operations teams.
Strong candidates for the Account Executive team will excel in sales & service, written and verbal communication, relationship-building and project management. The role requires a sharp analytical mind, client management and organizational skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for tackling one of the most complex medical and technological challenges of our time.
Responsibilities
- Leading sales activities for existing customers, including contract renewals and upsells on all existing (OE,OA,OB,OT) and new products (RCM, VBC)
- Partnering with the Account Management team to conduct regular business reviews and product roadmap overviews
- Acting as an escalation point for customers
- Develop irreplaceable relationships with customers; retain and satisfy customers
- Understand how customers interact with Flatiron products and identify their needs, challenges and ideas
- Develop innovative strategies to drive customer engagement
- Deliver value-driven solutions; ensure that customers begin every interaction with Flatiron with a clear understanding of its purpose and conclude every interaction with tangible results or next steps
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a top tiered university
- 5+ years experience in account management, customer service, and project management
- Experience working in healthcare/oncology big plus
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding of technology
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to any situation
- Passionate about our mission to improve healthcare through technology
- Nose for value, ability to effectively prioritize competing projects
- Willing to travel 50% at a minimum
