What does a work environment look like at Vouch?

This role is based in our New York or San Francisco office. We require the team members to be in the office at least two days per week (Monday and Thursday) to foster close collaboration and team building.Β 


Role Responsibilities:

The Business Operations team supports the CEO in addressing the most critical business challenges at Vouch. This hands-on team takes comprehensive ownership of high-visibility projects that significantly impact the broader business. They are also tasked with generating internal, competitive, and market analyses that unveil opportunities to innovate our operational models, processes, and performance management systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience structuring research plans, conducting thorough analyses, and crafting strategies with definitive execution plans. The candidate should be adept at communicating, engaging, and presenting to senior stakeholders and skilled in identifying and deploying solutions to complex business issues.

Job Duties:

  • Problem Solving: Design and implement effective frameworks and strategies to tackle key business challenges and efficiently execute on action plans.
  • Research and Analysis: Independently formulate critical questions and analyze extensive datasets from diverse sources to pinpoint high-impact opportunities and glean actionable insights.
  • Project Management: Oversee and report on the progress of cross-functional projects.
  • Process Improvement: Design and refine scalable processes that support the company's expansion.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Perform market and industry analyses and integrate trends into operational strategies.

About you:

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in fast-paced, analytical, and strategy-focused roles, such as strategy consulting, investment banking, investing, and/or in-house strategy.
  • You have led and successfully completed strategic analysis assignments that have directly influenced business strategy, showcasing your expertise in structuring research plans and conducting comprehensive analyses.
  • You have a demonstrated history of designing and implementing at least one significant strategic initiative, reflecting your strong capabilities in developing and executing clear, effective execution plans.
  • You have a hustle attitude, a desire to work autonomously with direction, and an ability to learn on the go.
  • You have managed and successfully executed a cross-functional project, demonstrating your robust project management experience and exceptional leadership and team coordination skills.

What to expect in the interview process:

  • 30-minute phone call with our recruiting team
  • 30-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager
  • Meet the team! 30-45min 1:1 Zoom meetings with four team members you’d work closely with in the role, including a takehome case study + discussion with the hiring manager
  • 30-minute Executive Chat with our CEO


Salary Range:Β 

The pay range for this role is: $120,000 - $130,000

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks. We also include stock options in all compensation packages and believe all Vouch employees should have the opportunity to become owners in the company.Β Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, location, and business need. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
