Boxed is seeking a CRM and Loyalty Marketing Manager to join our rapidly-growing marketing team. You’ll know you’re the right person for this gig if you have a passion for lifecycle marketing, geek out when it comes to consumer behavior, closely follow a number of loyalty programs and stay up all night obsessing over the latest email trends.

This role will create, manage, and optimize multi-channel strategies across email, push, SMS, and direct mail with the goal of maximizing customer lifetime value and driving customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on customer retention and a deep understanding of email marketing and loyalty marketing. We're looking for someone who has a strong passion for providing the best customer experience possible, is data-driven, as well as a creative machine. Perhaps as importantly, we want someone who is curious, proactive and will challenge us at every turn, asking tough questions and ensuring that the quality and personalization of our message is never sacrificed.

You will:
  • Be responsible for increasing engagement with new and existing customers through development and implementation of customer relationship management expansion and retention strategies
  • Help drive strategy around all of our customer engagement efforts, working throughout the organization and with relevant agencies/partners to execute initiatives
  • Develop and execute email and push marketing strategies and communications in promotional, transactional, lifecycle, triggered and rewards-focused campaigns to drive growth and winback
  • Manage the promo calendar across multiple channels, making sure to put the right content in front of the right recipient at the right time, as well as manage frequency caps
  • Work with Loyalty Marketing lead on key rewards initiatives, often from ideation to execution to analytics; relentlessly track developments in the loyalty space to help drive innovation and development with these initiatives
  • Partner with the Merchandising team and suppliers to develop targeted strategies and campaigns to support various products/opportunities
  • Lead key internal initiatives aimed at driving growth through customer re-engagement
  • Work with the email marketing coordinator to report on weekly email KPI's like open rates and clickthrough rates to continue to improve email effectiveness
  • Geek out on data sets, cohorts and segments to create relevant, fun and engaging campaigns for customers
  • Work with CRM lead and creative team to develop a deep understanding of what resonates with our customers and package images and content to provide a great promo experience for our users
  • Constantly stay informed with best in class retention practices, including 1:1 personalization, triggers, email deliverability, to send frequency, to subject line best practices and best-in-class creative approaches
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience in digital media/e-commerce experience/mobile marketing
  • Must be proficient in HTML or have a strong desire to learn
  • Experience managing and working within an ESP/CRM platform(s)
  • Experience working with and/or managing loyalty programs is strongly preferred
  • A proven track record to multi-task and prioritize ongoing projects
  • Love executing a project from start to finish
