In-office role

Responsibilities: Develop code (dbt, Jinja, Python) to extract, transform, validate, and aggregate raw data and build business-ready data models. Manage software development lifecycle (SDLC) of code creation. Review and test deployment and monitoring using our infrastructure of AWS, Snowflake, Fivetran, Splunk and Gitlab. Follow agile software development and CI/CD best practices using Jira and Confluence. Create Tableau dashboards for various business teams, charting key metrics and performing exploratory data analysis. Develop statistical models using Python, Pandas, Scikit-Learn and related machine learning libraries. Administer and measure the results of data-driven A/B tests. Convert data analyses into concrete action plans to demonstrably grow various business metrics over time.


Salary: $139,000 – $155,000/year

This is an in-office role based in our New York City office. 

Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and three years in the job offered or three years business intelligence/data analytics. Experience must include two years in each of the following: Python; SQL; Tableau or similar BI tool; and OLTP/OLAP data modeling. Experience must include one year in each of the following: AWS cloud infrastructure; CI/CD; agile development; software development lifecycle principles (SDLC); development and debugging of distributed systems, distributed data warehouses, and task schedulers. Experience may be gained concurrently.
