The Crown Is Yours
As the Director, VIP Player Development, you will be the end-to-end owner of our hosted customer strategy, responsible for engaging and retaining a robust book of VIP business. Success is driving forward the DraftKings VIP Player Development function to create a best-in-class VIP treatment with reliable qualification, seamless development, and unrivaled customer experience.
What you'll do as a Director, VIP Player Development
- Architect and lead a multi-year strategy to position DraftKings as the market leader in VIP.
- Unify VIP Acquisition, Lifecycle, & Player Development functions to create a cohesive and effective VIP customer journey
- Drive customer engagement, market share, and net revenue by discovering new and enhancing existing relations with top-level customers.
- Maximize hosted customer LTV by delivering market leading VIP programming
- Exceed forecasted KPIs - customer acquisition, paid activity, and gross profit.
- Lead, manage, and continue to build a high performing team to manage our hosted customer programs, delivering value across DraftKings
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of experience, spanning strategy, online gaming, and VIP development.
- Extensive understanding of customer segmentation and value for iGaming and Online Sports Betting.
- Expert in 1:1 sales and promotional strategies
- Experience setting winning strategies and building initiatives & management systems to exceed goals.
- Experience leading and rapidly scaling teams across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.
- Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing and the value created through capturing VIP mindshare.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, people leadership, and communication skills within a matrixed environment.
- Product management expertise to deliver systems and capabilities for the business.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
- Critical thinking, creative problem solving, natural curiosity, and passion for the job are essential in this role.
- Ability to lead in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment to include taking on additional responsibilities, strategic areas and operational teams

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000.00 - $216,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
