JW Player is a 200 strong and growing company headquartered in New York with offices in London and the Netherlands and we are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our team! Positioned in the New York City office, the ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter primed to deliver top notch service to our employees around the world.

As an IT Support Analyst for JW Player, you will enjoy a dynamic workload composed of both scheduled and unscheduled tasks and projects of varying levels of urgency, so the ability to prioritize and adapt are a must. Daily tasks will range from individual to company-wide and will require effective interfacing with all levels of the organization.

In this role your duties will include:

• Fielding Helpdesk requests including walk-ups and submitted tickets and resolving in a timely manner
• Using the JIRA Service Desk system to document all Helpdesk interactions while tracking to resolution
• Onboarding and offboarding employees from the company’s IT systems while interfacing with various other departments and employees of all levels of experience and seniority
• Administering our core systems (Google Apps, JIRA/Confluence, CardKey access, MS Office 365, Lastpass, etc.) including documentation and auditing of all systems to remove old/inactive data
• Assisting with various AV requests for setups and conferences (Google Hangouts, Skype, WebEx, Presentations etc.)
• Maintenance of all AV equipment including Chromeboxes, TVs, displays and cabling
• Keeping inventory of IT assets and initial and ongoing asset tracking and refreshment purposes
• New (and reused) machine setup and configuration for deployment
• Maintenance and updating of standard machine images for both Mac and PC.
• Offboard imaging and warehousing of departed user data.
• Gaining exposure to networking (wired and wireless) functionality while working with the IT Manager and DevOps

Requirements:

• 3+ years of IT Support experience - preferably within a high-growth company with 200+ employees
• Must be equally comfortable with Macs and PCs and also have iPhone and Android knowledge.
• Google apps administration experience.
• Networking experience - switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Excellent problem solving skills and methodology for researching and dealing with the unknown
• Ability to calmly handle a busy environment and prioritize multiple simultaneous needs
• Desire to thrive in a customer service role and project confidence while tackling issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Trustworthiness.

• Linux and/or DevOps experience
• Experience with JIRA / Confluence
