As a talent acquisition leader you will work closely with our management & tech hiring teams to support the continuous branding and hiring strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of prioritizing and evaluating cultural fit as a primary objective in the selection process, as well as a strong technical foundation. This individual will have a demonstrated track record of using innovative means to create a sustainable and scalable pipeline of talent for a global organization, with acute sensitivity and awareness for market differences. He/she will be responsible for managing a team of high-performing and ambitious talent acquisition team members who support hiring for our engineering, product, data science, IT and other technical teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Invest in understanding our strategic objectives, technical challenges, and complexities of our unique company positioning and industry; stay up to date on our thought leadership stance & product innovations, and translate them to company talent needs
  • Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of The Trade Desk culture
  • Manage, grow, empower, and mentor an ambitious technical talent team on strategic sourcing, relationship building, business acumen, & candidate engagement
  • Build deep relationships with all tech-hiring stakeholders, and serve as an advisor & partner throughout the hiring process; act as a hiring expert and consultant for these core teams
  • Contribute to meaningful culture interviewing, and make profound recommendations or impact hiring decisions based on your insights
  • Proactively create and leverage numerous channels to increase the diversity of applicant pools
  • Promote organizational development & effectiveness; contribute to company retention strategies and culture
  • Implement and contribute to the overall global talent acquisition & employer branding strategy
  • Analyze recruitment & attrition metrics to identify trends, and strategies for improvement
  • Understand candidate needs & The Trade Desk overall package, and be able to close during the offer process
  • Ensure a best-in-class experience for both candidates and hiring teams
  • Other duties to support the success of the talent acquisition team as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in all aspects of talent acquisition including, but not limited to: recruiting, strategic planning, sourcing, networking, qualifying/interviewing, legal & compliance, offer negotiations, and managing the candidate / hiring manager experience
  • 2+ years work experience in a complex tech or related environment, preferably within a global organization
  • Demonstrated success hiring for complex technical roles within a highly competitive market
  • Strong technical chops; Ability to comprehend and communicate complex ideas, and technical concepts
  • Motivated by the opportunity to change and evolve an industry
  • Excited by the opportunity to disrupt the Talent Acquisition function with a creative, and strategic approach to workforce planning, finding, evaluating, and hiring talent
  • Strong behavioral interviewing, and competency-based evaluation skills; extracting depth and conclusions based on these evaluations
  • Proven track record of utilizing innovative & creative candidate engagement techniques
  • Desire to solve problems, think creatively, and adapt to a dynamic market
  • Ability to lead hiring meetings, influence decisions, and interact with all levels of the company
  • Ability to manage large workload effectively & competing priorities
  • Ability to leverage data for insights
  • Superb verbal & written communications skills
  • Demonstrated success story telling and painting a picture of company culture
  • An impulsive instinct to help others, go above & beyond, and think ahead
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and growing junior staff
  • Is known for their leadership capabilities, and committed to empowering, teaching, and motivating their peers & co-workers
