Lemonade is looking for an incredible office manager.

We are a hip startup set to redesign insurance from the ground up to make it instant, delightful and super affordable, while promoting social impact.

For our office in downtown Manhattan, we are looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter who will run and manage all administrative aspects of our US operations.

The ideal candidate is a young spirited, friendly person, loaded with lots of positive energy and a genuine passion for helping others. Tech and internet savvy guy/gal who uses Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the sorts on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help us create a fun, efficient and organized workplace, and foster a positive, engaged, and inclusive office culture
  • Project manage our transition to a new office
  • Initiate, plan and coordinate various staff events, ranging from birthday celebrations, monthly social events, and annual retreats and holiday events;
  • Take full ownership of the day to day operations of our office, including all duties relating to office, IT and equipment maintenance, supply management and procurement, snacks and beverages, scheduling, etc;
  • Onboard new employees, assist in recruiting
  • Manage expenses and invoicing processes, including assistance to CFO
  • Coordinate travel
  • Support a varied range of ad-hoc and ongoing projects/processes relating to Operations & Human Resources as may be needed from time to time
  • High availability to work with individuals in different time zones in a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS
  • Immediate availability
  • Fast learner, self driven
  • A techie with ability and will to learn new systems
  • Lots of attention and care to detail
  • Administrative assistance to CFO with salaries, invoices etc.
  • Travel coordination
  • Working with individuals in different time zones
  • Highly available, dependable hard worker
