Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Strategist/Manager to lead the development and execution of our social media strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting an engaging editorial calendar, managing content creation and distribution, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to enhance our online presence. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy
Develop and implement an editorial calendar and social media strategy to drive audience growth and engagement across major social platforms
Collaborate with the Editorial Manager to strategize content distribution on various channels, monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization strategies.
Assist in the development and refinement of social media brand guidelines.
Stay current with platform updates, key competitors, and industry trends to identify opportunities and improvements.
Identify areas of improvement in our current online presence and strategy
Content Creation and Management
Create, manage, and publish original, high-quality content on social platforms.
Collaborate with the team to generate custom and engaging content for each platform, providing hands-on social writing and creative direction, adhering to platform best practices.
Campaign Planning, Analysis and Optimization
Plan and execute both organic and paid social media campaigns.
Utilize analytics tools, (preferably) Hootsuite, to track and measure campaign success, extracting key insights to provide strategic recommendations.
Optimize content strategies based on performance metrics and team goals.
Communication and Collaboration
Demonstrate strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of social media strategies.
Proactively identify and implement strategy and process improvements.
Display exceptional organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines and objectives.
Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management and strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms and analytics tools, with a preference for Hootsuite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in organic and paid social campaign planning.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization strategies.
