Time launches Motto to bring you advice from the world’s most influential people

On Wednesday, Time Inc. launched Motto, a new site powered by the publication’s editors. Motto is Time Inc.’s latest investment into multimedia opportunities outside of its long-standing print business. Motto will feature advice pieces from Time journalists in addition to the brand’s diverse network of influential contributors, including Dunham, Obama, Shonda Rhimes, Jenna Lyons, Megyn Kelly, Gina Rodriguez, Ivanka Trump, Tony Fadell, Ina Garten, Marie Kondo, among dozens of others. UberPUPPIES debuts in NYC

Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. today, offices around NYC were rapidly summoning Ubers to deliver a car full of puppies to their doorsteps. The UberPuppies event was a promotion in partnership with local animal shelters. [Built In NYC]

Allset launches in New York City

Food ordering service Allset came to New York City this week, allowing city dwellers to make the sit-down lunch process more efficient. Using the service, you can make a reservation, place your order and even pay directly from the app. Then when you get to the restaurant, you just tell them your name, and you should get seated and served in short order.
