NYC is about to host the world's largest single-day tech startup conference

This year’s New York TechDay is going to be massive. The organizers are expecting around 30,000 people to show up to Pier 92 this Thursday for the what will be the world’s largest single-day tech startup conference. To put that into perspective, a crowd that size would completely fill Madison Square Garden, while leaving another 10,000 people outside. 

What’s all the fuss about? The event is kind of like a giant science fair for tech companies. Startups will gather for to showcase their products and wares, and it's a great way to meet and see the next big thing in tech.

, and will be participating, as well as many of the city’s smaller, quickly growing startups. Speaking of which, Built In NYC will have a table if you want to come by and meet yours truly and the rest of the crew. 

In addition to tons of exhibition tables, there will also be two live demo stages, and an area appropriately dubbed Accelerator Alley, where 30 accelerators will be on hand to meet prospective startups.
