Social impact app beam emerges out of beta

Beam, an app that lets users donate corporate dollars to charities, just emerged from beta. The company was co-founded by Viveka Hulyalkar and Alexandra Salvatore, who were formerly at McKinsey & Company and Tinder, respectively. LeafLink raises $10M to pave the way for the cannabis industry

LeafLink, a cannabis marketplace, just raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Nosara Capital, with participation from investors inside and outside the cannabis industry. The startup will use the funding to expand its supply chain services to new markets around the country. [Built In NYC]

UnitedMasters launches to replace record labels

UnitedMasters, a platform that gives musicians the ability to share their songs and reach listeners, just emerged out of stealth. Its goal is to replace an artist’s need for a record label, using technology to analyze data and display retargeting ads to build a fanbase. Sprinklr welcomes its first chief revenue officer

Customer experience software Sprinklr welcomed a new chief revenue officer to its team. Luca Lazzaron brings with him 20 years of experience at companies like BMC Software, Cisco and BladeLogic. Quake Capital concludes its Fall 2017 cohort

Quake Capital just announced the conclusion of its second accelerator cohort. The Fall 2017 program included 16 startups that together generated $4 million in revenue, with $2.5 million recurring. The accelerator is currently accepting applications for its Winter 2018 program. [Press release]
