N26 raised $900M. Digital bank N26 raised $900 million in Series E funding, bringing its valuation to $9 billion. The company plans on going through a global hiring spree and is currently hiring for 14 remote tech positions. [Built In NYC]

Media measurement platform pulled in $275MVideoAmp is now valued at $1.4 billion, a huge jump for the company that was last valued at $200 million in 2019. The platform provides agencies with viewer and advertising data to give an audience more premium content. Republic brought in $150MFollowing Republic’s Series B funding round, the company is planning for international expansion. IT Automation company Electric closed a $90M round. The company has raised more than $189 million total in funding. Electric’s platform works to provide real-time IT support for small- to medium-sized businesses and will use the funding for product development, customer service and company culture. [Built In NYC]

VC funding soars in NYCVenture capital fundraising has soared in the past nine months, despite an ongoing pandemic. NYC’s Q3 brought in $82.8 billion in capital, breaking 2020’s record numbers. [Built In NYC]

Blox Finance acquired by LukkaThe enterprise crypto asset data and software provider acquired Blox Finance, a data management software company, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition expands Lukka’s footprint and increases its coverage. [Lukka]

Rhino partners with Cover Genius. The New York-based real estate technology company partnered with Cover Genius to expand into renters’ insurance.   • Health in Her HUE tackles problems in the healthcare industry that many women of color face, from lack of care to inadequate diagnoses. It serves as a resource for users to find culturally competent clinicians and healthcare providers. 
  • Oova is an app that helps women track their fertility and general wellness allowing them to ditch the normal pregnancy tests. The app still requires a urine sample on a test strip but avoids doctor appointments so it can be done at home. 
  • Traveling alone can be less daunting when using the TravSolo app. The app allows users to plan their travel by finding activities in the area and meeting with other travelers.
