Nasdaq to make $10B acquisition. Stock exchange Nasdaq announced an upcoming $10 billion acquisition. It will purchase Adenza, a provider of risk management and regulatory solutions for the financial services industry. Madhive secures $300M. TV advertising tech solution Madhive announced a significant investment from Goldman Sachs. The platform’s list of broadcasting clients includes names like FOX, Scripps and TEGNA. Madhive plans to use this fresh funding to accelerate the growth and adoption of its connected TV platform, as well as expand into new channels like national and direct-to-consumer advertisers and retail media networks. Ten Thousand raised $21.5M. Ten Thousand is a direct-to-consumer brand for athletic attire. The company plans to enhance its digital marketing efforts and ramp up production following a new investment from lead investor Provenance. Medivis secured $20M. Operating in the medtech space, Medivis uses augmented reality and artificial intelligence to enhance surgical navigation. The company announced a Series A funding round led by Thrive Capital that it plans to invest in scaling its engineering team, obtaining regulatory clearances and commercializing its tech worldwide across specialties like neurosurgery and reconstructive surgery. Kafene hired its first CRO. Kafene is a fintech solution that serves underbanked communities. The company allows consumers to make big purchases through its offers lease-to-own services.
