EasyKnock, a residential sale-leaseback platform headquartered in New York, recently acquired Onder, a Seattle-based solution meant to simplify the home maintenance process for homeowners. The acquisition will expand EasyKnock’s marketplace of solutions that serve homeowners, buyers and sellers across the country. As part of the deal, Onder’s CEO and co-founder David Krieger will join EasyKnock as the chief product strategy officer.
Onder is a home maintenance subscription platform that works to make home ownership easier. It focuses on providing transparency in pricing, access to trusted professionals and hassle-free scheduling. It also manages all of a homeowner’s maintenance, repairs and upgrade needs.
By combining EasyKnock’s existing property management team with Onder’s tech, this acquisition will help EasyKnock offer consumers solutions for every stage of the homeownership journey. Its goal is to enable customers to benefit from convenience, cost savings and the advantage of having multiple services available.
